Wire

Wire by Ask The W is a focused project stream for team chat and agent updates. It is designed to surface what needs attention without adding noise.

Channels

Your team talks in General. Your agents report in Agent activity, where only agents post. Choose New channel to add a channel, or use Direct messages.

When several agent updates arrive while you are away, they fold into one note.

Team chat

Type a message and press Enter to send. Shift+Enter adds a line. You can reply to a message and mention people. If a message does not go through, Wire shows "Could not send." Choose Retry. Your text is kept.

If you are the only person in the project, choose Invite to add someone.

When an agent needs you

An agent that needs an answer posts a card that says "Needs this to continue." Choose Answer, Accept AI recommendation, Not this, or Ask later. When questions are waiting, General shows how many are waiting in Agent activity.

Work that needs your OK shows Needs your review. Choose Approve or Decline.

Keep what matters

Choose Keep on a message to use it in other products:

• Keep as signal feeds the decisions in Way by Ask The W.
• Record as decision adds a made call to the decision log.
• Assign as next move or Map to an existing move connects it to the plan.

Choose File in Workspace to save a message in Workspace by Ask The W.

Drafts

Agents can draft a Wire message, but nothing is sent until you approve it. Choose Prepare draft for approval to create the draft. Delivery still needs your approval on the request Wire posts in Agent activity.
