Wizard

Shape an idea into a project, write the W Card, and choose the outcomes the plan is built from.

Wizard by Ask The W is a founder's idea workspace. It shapes rough ideas, suggests directions, learns your taste, and starts every project. It has three areas: Ideas, Projects, and Taste.

Start a project

In Projects, set up a new project. If you already have something, paste a link or notes, or drop a file. Choose Generate W card to draft the card from it.

The W Card has six fields: Why, What, Where, When, Who, and How. Why, What, and Who must be filled in before you finish. Who needs at least 2 characters. You can edit the card, then choose Finish plan. Wizard then drafts outcomes for the project.

Choose outcomes

Choose Include in the Plan on each outcome you want. Then choose Build the Plan. Way by Ask The W opens on Next moves with the plan. Before you build, you can select Build a working preview. See Working preview.

To think through one outcome, choose Analyze. You see W's pick, and you make your call: Build now, Smaller version, After, or Not now.

If "Let agents start work without asking you first" is on in settings, Wizard includes the first outcome for you. You can include any others.

Taste

Taste shows Your Taste Profile. Wizard uses it to rank your idea deck. Setup asks you to choose your domains, then to pick ideas you would build and ideas you would never build. If a read is wrong, choose Stop showing this.

Ideas

Ideas shows ideas ranked by your taste. When you reach the end of the day's batch, choose Generate 10 more from my taste. Choose Check viability on an idea to see its North Star, assumptions, and directions.
