Workspace

Workspace by Ask The W keeps project files, notes, plans, and relevant history easy to find and current. It has four areas: Files, Kits, Context, and Customer.

Files

Files shows the files that need your input, plus recent files. It has two lists: Needs your input and Recent. Choose Show more files to see more.

• Upload files adds files. You can also drag files onto the page. Workspace takes PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Markdown, text, CSV, images, and supported media, up to 50 MB.
• If an upload looks like a file you already have, choose Replace this file or Cancel.
• Create a file opens Ask W so you can write a new document together. When Ask W suggests a change to a file, you choose Save or Don't save. It does not change a file on its own.
• Remove hides a file from the list. It does not delete the file forever. Choose Undo if you change your mind.
• Each rewrite stays as a version on the file.
• Download all downloads the project's files.
• Connect links a coding agent to this project. See Install the coding plugin.

In a new project, choose Write project files to start the first write from the project's current context.

Kits

A kit is a set of files written from this project's current context. Open one already in play to read its files, or add another from Catalog. Filter by category or use Search kits. Choose Write this kit, then confirm.

Customer

Customer keeps what customers said. Choose Record a conversation, or Paste what they said (up to 1 MB).
